Experimenta Estudio led the team in the comprehensive development of interactive devices for the Paraná River Aquarium. In charge of the audiovisual and artistic direction of the project, we collaborated closely with scientists, educators, scriptwriters, and developers to design immersive and educational experiences that would enhance the aquarium visit. We created all the content, from UX/UI to illustrations, animations, photos, and videos, ensuring their harmony with the architecture and aesthetics of the place. Interactive Totems: Six strategically placed totems in the room offer a fun experience when accessing information of various genres. The illustrated interface represents the aquarium and its surroundings, allowing users to explore beyond the limits of the screen. It includes the aquarium, its park, and the fishing port, with icons that open image galleries and an interactive infographic about the periods of flooding and droughts in the wetland. Interactive Species Map: Strategically located videowalls offer three-dimensional maps of fish species in the Paraná River. Visitors can explore the map, select a species, and open technical sheets with photographs and abundant detailed information. They can interact with data, icons, and photos, exploring anatomical details, feeding habits, and more. Game Table: A table approximately the size of a pool table features an illustrated aerial view of the wetland with its flora and fauna. It serves as a container for various classic and invented games that offer a 90s arcade experience. "The Manguruyú Challenge" is a complete arcade where the player's challenge is to guide this mythical fish through different stages of its life, facing obstacles in environments that vary in each level of the game.
From the initial conception to implementation, Experimenta Estudio took care of all aspects, including UI/UX design, animation, fish photography, audiovisual production, implementation, and testing, collaborating with scriptwriters, illustrators, developers, and hardware providers. This project reflects our commitment to interactive education and our ability to carry out long-term projects through interdisciplinary collaboration. |
