Project | "A Visual Perspective on Historical Memory" In the collaborative project with AVI films and the Memory Museum for its 20th anniversary, Experimenta Studio faced the challenge of visually representing the era of genocide and repression of the last military dictatorship in Argentina. The video installation was carried out in a significant political context, coinciding with the rise of the right linked to the dictatorship. Using animated graphics and cutting-edge aesthetic treatment techniques, the team transformed archival material into a powerful visual narrative. With an aesthetic that combined glitch and decay effects with the authenticity of 1930s film material, and Inverted dates, texts crossed out as if censored, the installation captures the tension and conflict of Argentine political history, presenting a visual reminder of the cycles of democratic progress and regression. |
