Project | Collaborating with 2D and 3D animators, motion graphics designers, and illustrators, Experimenta Estudio took on the challenge of bringing three video installations to life in the dynamic 3G area of the Al Shindagha Museum in Dubai, focusing on Emirati cultural traditions and art. One installation features vibrant scenes with geometric particles and characters from different alphabets, reacting to sound, especially the voice reciting a traditional poem. These particles breathe life into allegorical scenes, creating an immersive experience that seamlessly integrates with other elements of the space. In another room, combining text animation, graphic elements, and archival footage, four vertical videos synchronously narrate different historical periods of Emirati poetry and art, spanning from antiquity to modernity. In a special room with a curved 180-degree screen, we implemented a video mapping that explores landscapes from various geographical zones and the significance of constellations in accordance with Emirati oral tradition. The integration of current audiovisual material with historical photographs adds depth to the visual narrative. Experimenta Estudio unfolded its creativity from the conceptual phase to image mastering. The meticulousness in the concept art process defined the original aesthetics of each piece, overcoming communication challenges in a project with multiple directors located in different parts of the world. What sets Experimenta Estudio apart is its ground-up approach, devoid of presets or templates. Each project is an original expression backed by the technical capabilities and aesthetic judgment of the team. |
